The Omega Sub by Magnat is designed as an all-rounder and created for a variety of applications and combinations. This incredibly powerful subwoofer features a generously sized 38 cm chassis, making it an ideal partner for full-sized floorstanding speakers or compact satellites, providing a voluminous foundation in the deep bass range, which is especially important in the home cinema sector.
A distinctive feature of the Omega Sub 380 is its 380 mm high-power long-stroke chassis. The coated and hardened paper diaphragm ensures deep-reaching and impulse-accurate reproduction of the lowest frequencies. Thanks to its high precision, structures in the bass range are clearly recognizable, and unwanted resonances are completely avoided. The chassis is equipped with a Klippel-optimized magnetic system, and the ventilated high-performance voice coil guarantees maximum operational safety. The integrated amplifier achieves a maximum output power of up to 300 watts, and of course, there are controls for volume, crossover frequency, and phase. A front control panel with an LED status display makes operation easier. An automatic standby function with very low power consumption is also available. The included remote control is a rarity, allowing you to not only turn the subwoofer on and off but also adjust the volume.
The Omega 380 subwoofer is housed in a particularly stable MDF cabinet with elaborate bracing and operates on the downfire principle. The distance to the base plate has been meticulously calculated, and in combination with the generously sized Airflex ports featuring low flow resistance, it not only achieves particularly deep and precise bass but also largely eliminates flow noise and unwanted frequency ranges.
