As a nod to the ongoing trend in consumer electronics towards black devices, the entire Needle-Alu-Super series is available not only in silver but also in black anodized aluminum.

The elegantly designed Needle-Alu-Super series proves that aluminium not only looks good but can also sound exceptional. The speaker enclosures are made from thick-walled aluminum die-casting and house up to four 70 mm mid-bass drivers, along with a 13 mm PC tweeter. The mid-bass drivers utilize specially hardened cellulose membranes and a so-called "low-distortion" centering, which prevents the diaphragm from wobbling at high volumes. And that's no small feat, as it can reach a measured 90 dB (1 W/Meter) according to DIN standards, making it quite suitable for parties. Should things get a bit too lively, the sophisticated crossover network prevents any damage to the speaker.
