Longshine 56K analogue modem seriel 56K V.92

The LCS-8660C1 is an external serial modem for the RS-232 interface. It is based on the Conexant SM56D chipset, which is hardware-based. The modem is intended for both private and industrial use.

It offers downstream data rates of up to 56 Kbps and upstream rates of 48 Kbps. It supports answering machine functionality and telephone services. It also supports speaker and microphone functions via a sound card. Additionally, it supports fax functionality with speeds of up to 14.4 Kbps. It features V.44 data compression for fast data transport.
