Screw lock - low strength. Easy to dismantle. Suitable for all threaded metal fasteners. Loctite 222 is a low strength threadlocker that allows adjustment of screws, including countersunk screws and set screws. It is well suited for use on metals that could break during disassembly, such as aluminium or brass. The product is suitable for all metals, including passive materials like stainless steel, aluminium, and galvanised surfaces. It has proven tolerance to low levels of contamination from industrial oils, including engine, anti-corrosion, and cutting oils.
