The Linksys Velop WRT Pro 7 is a tri-band WLAN 7 router for technical users and developers with OpenWrt-LuCI firmware for advanced network customisation. This model achieves maximum wireless speeds up to 10,680 Mbps across three frequency bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz, supporting the latest Wi-Fi 7 standards including Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4K QAM and OFDMA for optimised performance with minimal latency. Hardware includes a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm IPQ9554 processor, 1 GB DDR4 RAM and 8 GB eMMC storage for efficient multitasking and firmware updates. Connectivity options include a 2.5 Gbps WAN port and four 1 Gbps Ethernet LAN ports for high-speed wired connections, plus Bluetooth BLE support and VLAN functions. The advanced thermal design ensures stable operation under high load, making it suitable for gaming, streaming and professional applications.
