This 10 Gigabit SFP transceiver supports connection lengths of up to 20 km over OS2 single-mode fiber (SMF) with an LC simplex connector. This 10Gbit BiDi SFP transceiver enables data transmission over a single fiber, with communication between two transceivers always functioning with different wavelengths. One transmits on a wavelength that the other side must receive, and vice versa. Digital diagnostics can be accessed via the I2C interface according to SFF-8472, allowing real-time access to operational parameters.
