LevelOne POR-0120, Gigabit PoE Repeater, Cascadable

The LevelOne POR-0120 is a Gigabit PoE repeater. This allows you to extend the typical 100 m limit for PoE networks by an additional 100 m. Multiple POR-0120 units can be connected in series. The POR-0120 is powered by a Gigabit PoE switch (or Gigabit PoE injector), so no external power supply is needed for the operation of the repeater. A simple application example is the installation of a PoE device 200 meters away from the Gigabit PoE switch. The Gigabit PoE switch transmits power and data over the first 100 m. The POR-0120 processes the power and data signals and transmits them an additional 100 m to the PoE device.
