The GEU-0521 is designed to enable conversion between 10/100/1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX Fiber Ethernet. It enhances overall network flexibility and improves network efficiency to support and deliver high-bandwidth applications.

With an internal switching architecture of 10 Gbps, the GEU-0521 can handle a substantial amount of data in a secure topology connected to a backbone or high-performance servers. The GEU-0521 features a 4K MAC address table, 9K bytes jumbo frames, and allows wire-speed throughput without the risk of packet loss. The device's high data throughput makes it ideal for most Gigabit environments, especially for networks being upgraded to a Gigabit setup.
