Product details

Used in structured cabling systems, this cable meets the Category 5e network standard and is ideal for indoor applications, including Fast Ethernet, voice, data, video, and multimedia. This is currently the most common and fundamental method of cable construction, consisting of twisted pairs of wires.

There is no shielding; instead, the symmetrical twisting of the wires creates a balanced transmission line that helps reduce electrical interference and EMI.

The Lanview Cat5e unshielded PVC cables are manufactured and tested according to the standards ISO/IEC 11801, EIA/TIA 568B, and EN50173-2. Each cable consists of 4x2 color-coded, PE-insulated conductors.
