The RamCAT6A cable RC6A-SB1X for data transmission in mobile operations is designed for a frequency of 500 MHz, making it suitable for data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s over a link length of up to 100 m. It is primarily used for data transmission in Ethernet applications 1000Base-T and 10GBase-T on cable drums. This robust data line, with a characteristic impedance of 100 Ohms, features four twisted pairs with AWG 23/1 solid conductors, making it the 'big brother' of our best-seller and 'universal cable' RC5-SB1X. The coordinated lengths of the individual pairs and the sophisticated overall twisting using a PE twisting element ensure extremely low NEXT (near-end crosstalk) and FEXT (far-end crosstalk) values. Thanks to the cross-shaped PE twisting element, the stabilizing intermediate layer, and the abrasion-resistant PUR outer sheath, the cable is suitable for mobile road use (Touring Grade). A double shielding (SF/UTP) effectively protects against electromagnetic interference. For a compatible connector, we recommend the Telegärtner MFP8 IE series made of metal. The RamCAT6A cable is available both as bulk cable and as premade cables with and without cable drums.
