The built-in, highly efficient Class-D amplifier features an analogue preamplifier design that maintains the original signal path for clean, true-to-source reproduction. The Class-D output stage ensures maximum efficiency even at low frequencies. Proprietary internal geometry with a new aerofoil slot port design minimises port noise for clean, undistorted low frequencies. The front-firing design allows for placement flexibility, such as directly against a wall or in a corner. The Klipsch WA-2 Wireless Subwoofer Kit (sold separately) provides high-resolution wireless connectivity for easy placement anywhere in the room, optimising power and low-frequency response. Phase control is regulated with two rotary controls for the personally ideal bass level. At only ½ watt in standby mode, this sub meets global efficiency standards.
