The enlarged outer dimensions of the horn allow for control over the dispersion characteristics across a wider range of frequencies, resulting in improved high-frequency dispersion and a more precise soundstage. The rear Tractrix opening is perfectly matched to the enclosure and the woofers, ensuring ideal airflow with minimal distortion or turbulence even at the lowest frequencies.
The high-quality cabinet design features a reinforced 3/4" MDF construction and a completely braced design that reduces cabinet vibrations, resulting in less audible resonance and improved sound accuracy. The MDF enclosure is finished with a scratch-resistant vinyl veneer with a wood grain texture.
A special bonus: Upgrading with a Dolby Atmos module is very tidy thanks to the simple and hidden connections on the back of the speakers. The wiring runs inside the cabinet, reducing visible cables.
