Like the other Klipsch floorstanding speakers, the R-625FA is a front speaker. What makes it unique is the built-in ceiling speaker, which allows the R-625FA to be Dolby Atmos capable. With Dolby Atmos, your home cinema is expanded into the vertical dimension. The ceiling speaker enables sounds to be distributed vertically, providing you with optimal surround sound in your living room. From the front, the R-625FA looks identical to the R-620F. The only difference is the top of the speaker. If the additional height channel bothers you, it can be covered with a black cap. Overall, this passive Dolby Atmos floorstanding speaker has a nominal power handling of 100 watts RMS with an impedance of 8 ohms. The supported frequency range is from 38 Hz to 21,000 Hz.
