Klipsch Heresy IV

For the first time in its long history, the Heresy now features a rear port that improves low frequency extension by nearly 10 Hz for room-filling bass. Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Heresy IV ports allow for the most efficient and fastest air transfer in its class, reducing port noise for punchier low frequencies. Klipsch Tractrix ports have specially designed internal flares that help reduce air turbulence entering the port. Less turbulent air helps reduce opening noise and provide cleaner, more powerful bass. Heresy's high quality aluminum input plate accommodates large, high quality speaker cables. Strong, versatile, high-quality binding posts provide the option for bi-wiring or bi-amping. Nothing in the industry sounds as big or is as efficient as the Heresy, given its relatively compact size. This model offers the greatest degree of placement flexibility of the Heresy series. The additional angled riser base can be removed for cabinet installations. Each pair of Heritage Series speakers is grain matched, using wood veneer panels sourced from the same wood. Each cabinet is carefully matched so that each speaker in the pair is virtually indistinguishable from the others. The speakers move seamlessly together through the factory, and each finished product is inspected and assigned sequential serial numbers. Every component of the Heresy IV is built to last. Klipsch has always recognized the unique and critical role of the speaker enclosure in sound reproduction. From the craftsmen in Hope, Arkansas, to the engineers in Indianapolis, Indiana, Klipsch has always placed an exceptional emphasis on enclosure design. Only the highest quality adhesives and fasteners are used to assemble the Heresy enclosure. The riser base can be removed for installation of the enclosure or placement on optional stands.
