The Klipsch Cornwall was first introduced in 1959. In its fourth version, the three-way design utilizes horn-loaded compression drivers for the midrange and highs, along with a direct-radiating 15-inch woofer for the low frequencies. This allows for the full bass range of the Klipschorn, with sensitivity and performance that approaches that of fully horn-loaded models. The completely new K-702 midrange driver is equipped with a modified Tractrix horn featuring patented Klipsch Mumps technology to ensure uniform midrange frequencies and sound throughout the listening area. A new high-fidelity network with a steep slope provides accurate sound reproduction with class-leading efficiency and power handling. New openings with Tractrix channels enable efficient and rapid air transport, resulting in reduced port noise and clear, powerful, and punchy bass. A newly developed high-frequency phase plug with wide dispersion ensures that the last octave matches the radiation pattern of the midrange and high-frequency horns. Premium aluminum input terminals accommodate large, high-quality speaker cables, while sturdy terminals allow for bi-wiring or bi-amping. An updated passive network features top-notch internal AudioQuest wiring. Each pair of Heritage series speakers is finished with high-quality veneer. To ensure that your future stereo pair receives a twin, two consecutive serial numbers with the same veneer are always paired together. Therefore, two pieces are always delivered, with the two serial numbers in sequence.
