Suitable for Shore hardness testing of plastics, leather, etc. Glass plate: High measurement accuracy due to the increased hardness of the glass base plate. Mechanical construction: Robust design allows for precise measurement movements. Leveling device: For precise alignment of the base plate, e.g., for inhomogeneous test objects. Hardness measuring device not included. Operation: 1. The hardness testing device SAUTER HBD is mounted in a hanging position. 2. The test object is placed on the round test table directly under the measuring tip of the hardness tester. 3. By pressing down the lever, the test weight is released, which then impresses the measuring tip into the test object with its weight. The accuracy of the measurement result is about 25% higher with this testing stand compared to a handheld measurement.
