The KERN Universal Port (KUP) allows the connection of external KUP interface adapters, such as RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN, or Ethernet, for data and command exchange without installation effort. The KERN Communication Protocol (KCP) enables querying and remote control of the scale via external control devices or computers. It features a uniform, simplified operating philosophy. The weighing unit is freely programmable, for example, displaying directly in thread length g/m, paper weight g/m², or similar. The robust aluminum die-cast housing ensures stable positioning, protects the weighing technology, and is resistant to daily use. A level and adjustable feet for precise leveling of the scale are included as standard. A protective cover is also included in the delivery.
