The Kathrein Multiswitch EXR 25516 is a cascadeable multiswitch for distributing four satellite levels and terrestrial signals to multiple receivers. Only one cable is needed per receiver (two cables for twin receivers). There is an independent selection option for horizontal/vertical and low/high for each receiver. Switching occurs via the coaxial cable with a 14/18 V and 0/22 kHz signal frequency.

An integrated amplifier ensures low connection losses in the satellite range. A pre-emphasis for equalizing cable losses is also integrated. Reception of the terrestrial range is possible even when the satellite receiver is turned off. The terrestrial range operates passively in the frequency range of 5-862 MHz and offers high decoupling between outputs.

The multiswitch is suitable for indoor installation and allows for system expansion by 16 connections each, with up to six devices being cascadeable. With the Kathrein power-saving function, a signal is sent to the end multiswitch via the trunk vertical low as soon as no receiver is active, which turns off the LNB power supply.
