In distant Rajasthan, we encountered a small group of artisan workshops that possess unique and nearly forgotten craftsmanship skills. This artisanal skill, the creation of magnificent silver furniture for the residences and palaces of royal families, honed and refined over generations, is reflected in this extraordinary chest of drawers. A beautiful and high-quality work of art in a combination of stone, glass, and metal. Each element has been lovingly handcrafted. The body is covered with metal foil, and intricate inlays adorn the drawers and the door. A true one-of-a-kind and remarkable masterpiece. Now, the individual parts of the sideboard, drawer fronts, or legs are wrapped in shimmering silver foil. With a stamp about 4 by 4 centimeters in size and, above all, a keen eye, the workers finally hammer the decor to the interior dimensions: 4 small drawers: 7x19x34 cm, 1 large drawer: 18x86x33 cm, 1 door: 42x45x39 cm, 1 open compartment: 20x44x39 cm.
