Die JVC TH-BD30 klingt etwas kühl und leicht verfärbt. Der Subwoofer lieferte in der Grundeinstellung zu kräftige Bässe. Für Flachbildfernseher bot der HDMI-Ausgang die beste Bildqualität. Die JVC ist mit zwei HDMI-Eingängen ausgestattet. Daran lassen sich zum Beispiel DVD-Recorder, Satelliten- oder Kabelempfänger anschließen und Bild sowie Ton ohne Qualitätsverlust übertragen.
