The insertable sheath resistance thermometer with connection cable allows for temperature measurement in gaseous as well as liquid media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The protective tube of the sheath cable is made of stainless steel, material 1.4541. The shock-resistant design ensures a long service life.

The sheath resistance thermometer is frequently used in chemical plants, power stations, pipelines, engine construction, on test benches, and at all measurement locations where flexibility and easy replacement are desired.

The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (Class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire configuration and is suitable for temperatures from -50 to +600 °C. The protective tube has dimensions of 3.0 x 300 mm. The 2.5 m long silicone connection cable is mounted with strain relief at the transition. The permissible ambient temperature of the connection cable is -50 to +180 °C. The open connection end is equipped with crimp terminals according to DIN 46228 Part 4. EAN: 4053877003977.
