The extremely compact active subwoofer has a very high amplifier power of 800 watts. The digital amplifier is compact and operates efficiently, as there is hardly any waste heat. Thanks to the digital amplifier technology, it is possible to install a powerful amplifier in the confined space of a small enclosure without thermal issues. A switch-mode power supply is sufficient, so no large transformer takes up much space. The subwoofer features an active 16.5 cm driver and two passive radiators to enhance efficiency. It plays down to 42 Hz and has continuous controls for phase, level, and crossover frequency. An automatic on/off function is also integrated. The enclosure is neatly finished both inside and out, and the corners are slightly rounded, enhancing the overall impression of quality.
