Ixxat simplyCAN active USB adapter

With the simplyCAN, HMS offers a highly affordable PC-CAN adapter that can be quickly and easily integrated into customer applications without driver installation and through an intuitively usable API interface. simplyCAN is therefore the ideal foundation for customer-specific tools for the diagnosis, configuration, and commissioning of devices and systems with a CAN connection.

Easy commissioning: Under Windows 10 and Linux, no driver installation is required for the operation of the hardware, as the adapter is automatically recognized as a serial USB-COM interface. Customer-specific applications based on simplyCAN, such as for diagnosis, configuration, or commissioning, can thus be used directly without driver installation. The connection to the customer application is made using a few simple functions provided through a compact API.

Comparison of different USB-CAN interfaces: HMS offers additional USB interfaces for CAN under the Ixxat brand. These include variants with one or two CAN channels, support for CAN FD and LIN, as well as an embedded variant for implementation in customer devices.
