Product Description: 1:72 WW2 - Russian Infantry (Winter Uniform)

The model is a representation of a Russian infantry unit during the winter. In February 1943, the VI German Army under General von Paulus surrendered in Stalingrad. The victory of the Red Army, a significant turning point in World War II, became a symbol of Soviet resistance, but also of the horrors of war. Street fighting in Stalingrad occurred in December and January at temperatures near -40 °C. The winter gear of the Red Army, notably better than that of the Wehrmacht, was crucial during the battle.
