Product details

Art. No.: 510006005 Art. Description: 1:72 Napoleonic Wars: Austrian Infantry This model is a representation of an Austrian infantry unit during the Napoleonic Wars. The Austrian infantry in the box is depicted with the 1798 helmet of the light infantry Frei-Corps and Jäger battalions. Later, this helmet was adopted by most Austrian rifle battalions. In the box, the riflemen are flanked by grenadiers wearing the distinctive bearskin caps. In July 1809, the Austrian troops, commanded directly by Archduke Charles himself, were defeated by Napoleon during the Battle of Wagram. The figures can be used to reproduce the rifle regiments or the Grenadier Corps commanded by Liechtenstein.
