Italeri F-4E/F Phantom II

The 1:72 scale model is a replica of the F-4E/F Phantom II fighter-bomber, designed by the American company McDonnell Douglas and in service since the 1960s. It is one of the most well-known aircraft in the history of military aviation. Originally conceived for the US Navy, it was also widely used by the US Air Force and achieved significant commercial success worldwide. The "E" version of the Phantom II, developed in detail for the US Air Force, featured an M61 Vulcan cannon positioned in the nose and could be equipped for interception missions with AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-7 Sparrow air-to-air missiles. With its two powerful J-79 engines from General Electric, the Phantom II was capable of exceeding speeds of 1,240 knots (approximately 2,300 km/h).
