More range for PoE connections – even in harsh outdoor weather. The Intellinet Outdoor Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Extender, model 561211, extends the range of a connection between a PoE source and a PoE device via Cat5 or Cat6 cable by an additional 100 meters. This allows it to overcome the 100-meter range limitation that typically restricts PoE connections. For even greater distances, up to five extenders can be cascaded. No power supply is needed, as the extender draws power directly from the PoE source.
Designed for outdoor use. With an IP65 protection rating and functionality in temperatures ranging from -40 to 75 °C, this extender withstands even the harshest conditions. For pure indoor use, you can alternatively use the Intellinet PoE+ Extender model 560962.
Easy installation. Simply connect your PoE injector or PoE switch to the "PoE In" port and connect the PoE device, such as a VoIP phone.
