The 8-Port PoE Web-Managed Desktop Gigabit Switch (561075) from Intellinet Network Solutions is an excellent solution for transmitting data and power to PoE-compatible devices via Cat5e or Cat6 network cables. Equipped with eight Fast Ethernet ports (four of which support 802.3at/af PoE/PoE+), this switch provides power for access points and bridges, VoIP phones, IP cameras, and much more, while delivering transmission speeds of up to 100 Mbps.

Power over Ethernet 802.3at. This switch supports the IEEE 802.3at protocol, providing up to 30 watts of power per port. IEEE802.3af or IEEE802.3at compliant devices connected to the switch do not require additional power supplies, saving significant costs and time on wiring and eliminating cable clutter and adapters in exposed areas like walls and ceilings. Any combination of PoE and non-PoE devices is supported, and with protection against short circuits, overloads, and surges, your equipment is well protected. For devices that do not support the 802.3at/af standard (older access points or network cameras), we recommend using an Intellinet PoE/PoE+ splitter.

The total PoE budget is 70 watts. The average power allocation per port is 17.5 watts, with a maximum usage of 30 watts per port.
