The InLine Network Media Converter 10/100/1000Mb/s TP to Fiber Optic (SC Duplex), SM, 20km is designed for low-cost migration or expansion of existing networks. The converter complies with various IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards and features an RJ45 10/100/1000Base-T port as well as an optical fiber SC Duplex module slot. It provides fiber optic connections to remote network segments and is also excellent for connecting buildings. With this converter, it is possible to link optical networks over distances of up to 20km by connecting both devices directly via fiber optic. System administrators can deploy the converters anywhere in the network without making changes to the existing cabling structure. Its compact size allows for installation in any desktop environment.
