The IFM IG5841 is an inductive proximity switch with an M18 thread, designed for use in various industrial applications. This sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10 to 36 V DC and offers a switching distance of up to 12 mm. It is not flush mountable and features a 3-wire DC PNP configuration. The switch is equipped with an M12 connector, allowing for easy integration into existing systems. The housing is made of brass with a white bronze-coated surface, while the active area is made of PBT Pocan. With a current consumption of only 15 mA, the sensor is energy-efficient and ideal for applications where space and energy consumption are important.
