The multi-function switch element EASY_SWITCH uses color signals and illuminated symbols to guide the user. It has an automatic reverse with automatic shutdown to prevent paper jams and an automatic shutdown via magnetic switch when the shredded paper collector is full.

The shredder also includes an electronic door lock via magnetic switch and a motor with double fuse protection. The ZERO ENERGY standby mode automatically shuts off completely after 15 minutes in standby mode. An infrared barrier allows for automatic start/stop. The ECC (Electronic Capacity Control) is a patented indicator of available capacity while shredding. It features automatic oil injection onto the blade shafts during shredding for consistently high cutting capacity.

The paper clip resistant all-steel blade shafts are made of special hardened steel. It operates quietly with a powerful AC motor for continuous operation and has a robust, sealed motor with a chain drive.
