Features smart shred control for jam-free shredding. It includes a safety protection system with a patented, electronically controlled safety flap in the feed opening, an EASY-SWITCH multi-function switching element with integrated user guidance through color signals and illuminated symbols, automatic reverse with automatic switch-off to prevent paper jams, and automatic switch-off when the shred bin is full.

Additional safety features include electronic door protection via magnetic switch, double motor protection, and a zero energy standby mode that disconnects the mains after 30 minutes of inactivity.

The light barrier allows for automatic start and stop. The smart shred control features a smiley on the EASY-SWITCH switch to indicate current capacity utilization during shredding.

The cutter shafts are made of hardened special steel and are resistant to paper clips, with a lifetime guarantee (paper clips and staples must be removed during fine cutting of 0.8 x 12 mm and super-fine cutting of 0.8 x 5 mm).
