ICM KFK Kriegsfischkutter, WWII German multi-purpose boat(100% new molds)

The KFK multi-purpose boat project was developed in 1941 by Maierform GmbH Bremen based on a fishing trawler. Production began in 1942 and was carried out not only in Germany but also at shipyards in seven European countries. The simple yet technically advanced boats, featuring wooden hulls and diesel engines, were quite successful, particularly in terms of cost-effectiveness. Thanks to various armament options, the KFK could be deployed for different tasks: as a patrol or escort boat, as a minesweeper for combating sea mines, as a training vessel, or as an anti-submarine warfare boat. The construction of the KFK represented the largest shipbuilding series in German history. A total of 1,072 units were ordered, of which 612 were built. The boats participated in combat operations in all major theatres of war where the German Navy was involved – in the North, the Atlantic, the Mediterranean, and the Black Sea.
