Product details

Universal boats of the type KFK (War Fish Cutter) were developed in late 1941 based on a fishing trawler. They were built by various companies in Germany and other countries, including neutral Sweden. After a minor conversion, they could be used as trawlers, as they were capable of carrying contact, magnetic, and acoustic nets. Additionally, they could serve as submarine hunters, as the boats were equipped with a hydroacoustic station, or as patrol boats. The hulls of the boats were made of wood, but some shipyards manufactured them from metal or composite materials depending on technological requirements. The basic armament consisted of 20-mm or 37-mm cannons mounted on a platform at the bow and on the wheelhouse. Over time, the armament changed and could include a 37-mm gun and up to six 20-mm automatic cannons.
