Product details
The two-axle army off-road vehicle G7117 was a variant of the truck series G7100 introduced by General Motors in the fall of 1941. It was a four-wheel drive vehicle with a payload capacity of 1.5 tons, a metal cabin, and a mechanically driven winch powered by a gearbox at the front of the chassis. Most of these vehicles were sent to the Allies as military aid during World War II. The US military also used a certain number of these vehicles. Essentially, the trucks served various types of auxiliary functions. After the war ended, many of the remaining trucks were sold into private ownership.
