Zusammen mit dem TechnoTrend TT-Micro S835 HD+ ermöglicht der Humax HD-Fox einen preiswerten Einstieg in die HD+-Welt, zumal der Südkoreaner im Internet 50 Euro unter Listenpreis erhältlich ist. Man muss allerdings Abstriche bei der Bildqualität hinnehmen, da es dem HD-Fox vor allem im Heimkino an Bildschärfe mangelt.
