HPE Virtual Connect Flex-10/10D Module for c-Class BladeSystem

Easily and flexibly design your data center. With the HP Virtual Connect Flex-10/10D module for c-Class BladeSystem, administrators can precisely tune network bandwidth on the server side. VC Flex-10/10D modules route traffic over fast 10 GB connections using HP FlexFabric adapters. Each module allows for four customizable connections (three for data and one for storage, or all for data) to any 10 GB server port. By using a device that converges traffic within the enclosure and establishes a direct connection to an upstream FCoE bridge, up to 95% of the increase in network components is prevented. Numerous Ethernet and Fibre Channel switches, expansion modules, cables, and software licenses are no longer needed. This way, issues related to traditional and other converged network solutions are avoided. Additionally, the Virtual Connect connection management is integrated for one-time cabling, allowing servers to be added, moved, or replaced within minutes (instead of days as before).
