The HPE FlexNetwork 5140 EI Switch Series offers scalability, high availability, and low total cost of ownership at the access layer of campus networks for medium and large enterprises. The series provides enterprise-grade quality of service and security, Hewlett Packard Enterprise IRF stacking (Intelligent Resilient Framework), static Layer 3 routing and RIP, convenient fixed 10GbE uplink ports, PoE+, ACLs, and IPv6, as well as energy-saving options with Energy Efficient Ethernet. The HPE FlexNetwork 5140 EI Switch Series also includes the Smart Management Center (SmartMC), an integrated network management tool that can be used by small and medium-sized networks at no additional cost for centralized management and operation. The series can also be managed with HPE Intelligent Management Center (IMC), which provides a centralized view of the entire network.
