With a reduction in cost per bit, the HPE 100Gb QSFP28 transceiver can significantly reduce capital and operational expenditures on interconnect connections. When the fiber optic cable is attached via a standard MPO connector, connections of up to 100 meters can be conducted using multi-mode fibers.
