The HPE FlexFabric 12900E Switch Series includes next-generation modular core switches for data centres. These switches are designed to support virtualised data centres and the new requirements of private and public cloud deployments. This switch offers the highest levels of performance, buffering, scalability, and availability with high GbE, 10-GbE, 40-GbE, 100-GbE, and 400-GbE connectivity density. The switch series includes chassis with 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16 slots. The HPE FlexFabric 12900E Switch is SDN-capable (Software-Defined Networking) and provides full support for Layer 2 and Layer 3, as well as advanced data centre features, to deliver resilient, scalable fabrics and achieve outstanding convergence times.
