It offers four times the speed of 25-Gbit cables. Compared to 40-Gbit solutions, the 100-Gbit QSFP28 technology delivers top-notch switch port density at lower costs and reduced power consumption. Furthermore, bandwidth consolidation allows for a reduction in cabling effort, power supply, and cooling, thereby decreasing the required rack space. The HPE QSFP28 breakout direct attach cables enable the aggregation of individual 25-Gbit connections, facilitating a smooth and flexible transition from 25 Gbit to 100 Gbit.
