They offer four times the speed of 25 Gbit cables. Compared to 40 Gbit solutions, the 100 Gbit QSFP28 technology delivers premium switch port density at lower cost and reduced power consumption. Additionally, bandwidth consolidation reduces cabling, power, and cooling requirements, thereby decreasing the rack space needed. The HPE QSFP28 Breakout Direct Attach Cables enable the aggregation of individual 25 Gbit connections, facilitating a smooth, flexible transition from 25 Gbit to 100 Gbit.
