The AP-LAR-1 is an in-line, N-Type connector (1 x female, 1 x male) lightning arrester, designed for use with Aruba wireless access points and antennas when deployed outdoors. The device protects the access point radios from high-voltage lightning transient voltage. Supporting a frequency range of 2.0-6.0 GHz, the same arrester can be used for 2.4-2.5 GHz or 5 GHz deployments. The AP-LAR-1 is weatherproof once installed.
