The HP Retail Integrated Fingerprint Reader offers additional security for retailers at point of sale through employee authentication when opening the cash drawer and approving certain transactions. The fingerprint reader enables better authentication when used as a time tracking device. A visual display confirms that a fingerprint has been successfully read. It can be easily integrated into one of the four ports on the HP7 Retail System Display or on HP L6015tm and L6017tm touchscreen monitors for customizable positioning. For the HP RP7 Retail System Display or HP L6015tm and L6017tm touchscreen monitors, HP does not support any other USB standard devices besides the HP Retail Integrated Fingerprint Reader (QZ672AA), the HP Retail Integrated Dual-Head MSR (QZ673AA), and the HP Retail Integrated Webcam (QZ700AA).
