Contacts are not silver plated and are unsuitable for use with low current DC applications. Basic bimetallic thermostat with PPS Ryton housing and steel end cap. Electrical terminals are parallel to the mounting surface, and it features a movable steel bracket for easy mounting and increased temperature tolerance. Normally closed types open on temperature rise, while normally open types close on temperature rise. It has a 1/4" spade terminal. Contacts are rated at 250 Vac, 10 A, with a maximum contact resistance of 50 mΩ. Dielectric strength is 2,000 Vac.
