The Homematic IP Weather Sensor - basic is part of the Homematic IP Smart Home system and reliably and accurately measures the outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, brightness, and sunshine duration. The display and evaluation of the weather data can be conveniently done through the free Homematic IP app. Additionally, the weather data can be used to trigger actions. For example, shutters can be raised in strong winds, or an awning can be automatically extended in sunny conditions. Countless other scenarios are possible in conjunction with other Homematic IP components. Thanks to the independent battery power supply and the proven and secure wireless technology, the weather sensor can be installed without the need for additional wiring.
