Homematic IP Rain sensor

The rain sensor detects the onset of rain and even snow immediately above the integrated sensor area, allowing the awning to be retracted. The large, sensitive sensor area registers even the smallest amounts of rain and snow. Through the Homematic IP app, you can always keep an eye on everything, enabling a quick response to weather changes, such as closing windows and doors.

The integrated sensor heating ensures the immediate drying of the sensor surface. This prevents functional limitations or malfunctions due to dew or ice. Thanks to the wide temperature range and the waterproof housing, operation is also possible under extreme conditions from -20 to +55 °C. With the integrated sensor heating and operation via an external power supply (not included), the rain sensor is particularly low-maintenance.

The included mounting brackets (with and without tilt) allow for installation in various positions, according to individual circumstances. To achieve the full range of functions, installation at a 45-degree angle is recommended.
