The Mars 4K supports 4K UHD video transmission at 30 frames per second for demanding videographers who want high-resolution production The Mars 4K also supports FHD and HD formats with different frame rates - 24p, 30p and 60p. The Mars 4K achieves an incredible LOS range of 150 metres (450 feet) and an extremely low latency of 0.06 seconds. The updated dual-core codec chip enables a data rate of 8 Mbps to 20 Mbps, with 12 Mbps being the default setting. The LOS range of 150 m is based on interference-free laboratory measurements. The latency time of 0.06 s is based on test data during the transmission of 1080p60 signals in a laboratory. The Mars 4K supports HDMI and SDI input and output for extended connectivity and compatibility. SDI provides extended frame rate flexibility for both broadcast and production frame rate standards (decimal point frame rates) and compatibility in production and post-production.
