For the 2012 season, this CF-18 Hornet of the Royal Canadian Air Force was given a special paint scheme. The theme was "The true north, strong and free," flown by Captain Patrick Paco Gobeil. The images on the aircraft depict the Arctic with 13 snowflakes representing the 13 provinces of Canada. Also visible are the maple leaf, northern lights, a polar bear, and a hunter.
