Product details

The Hobbes Fiber Checker Pro FC-2005 is a highly advanced laser testing device specifically designed for checking fiber optic cables (FOC) in singlemode and multimode applications. This device is ideal for use in dry and clean environments and features a visual fault indicator that allows for testing cables for continuity and damage. With a laser diode that operates at a wavelength of 650 nm, the device can send signals over distances of up to 5 km. User-friendliness is enhanced by the ability to switch between continuous light and pulse modes, as well as a universal connector for common fiber optic connectors such as ST, SC, FC, and FDDA. Additionally, the device can be used with an optional adapter to convert from 2.5 mm to 1.25 mm, further increasing its versatility. Power is supplied by two AAA micro batteries, and the dust-protected connector ensures reliable usage.

  • Universal connector for common fiber optic connectors
  • Dust-protected connector for increased durability
