Launched in 2013, Hikvision's Turbo HD revolutionized analog surveillance by integrating the open HDTVI standard (High Definition Transport Interface). Based on the original analog transmission media, the HDTVI standard allows for the transmission of HD video over a coaxial-based system over longer distances with greater reliability.

Hikvision is the first provider to introduce H.265+ high-performance encoding for DVRs, significantly reducing the bandwidth and storage requirements for HD videos. We are also the first to use deep learning algorithms through AcuSense technology to enhance alarm efficiency. With Turbo HD, Hikvision raises the bar for HD over coaxial solutions by offering better image quality and more intelligent features to the analog world.
